Default The Offical Word From Honda UK

I asked the question and this is their answer.

'Regretfully we will not be getting a 2.2 litre S2000 in the UK. Honda UK
decided that the market for a 2.2 litre engine would not be big enough in
the UK, and with the current model being so popular, didn't wish to split
the market.

Thank you for your enquiry.

This does not have the ring of "saving the best for Europe" does it?

So if the revised/improved/destroyed (delete as applicable) 2.2ltr model is not bound for these sores, WTF is it not possible to buy a new S2000 in the UK today??????

Something has to be afoot.............

perhaps they are restricting supply to keep the values firm...remember to all intents and purposes this is Honda's flagship model........yes I know there's the NSX but still...

yeah, but I presume the UK model will be face lifted / revised geometry, 17" rims etc. So the reason you can't buy a new S2000 at the moment will probably be because Honda are busy building the new ones?
