Default Offset confirmation

Apologies but couldn't really find a definitive answer will these offsets be okay for a mildly lowered car - 19mm, fitting standard fitment tyres?

17x7.5" ET45 5x114.3
17x8.0" ET48 5x114.3

Thanks

Do you mean pre-facelift or facelift width tyres? I reckon the front will be fine with either, i had rear 235s on a 17x8" +44 and she would rub. Lowered a tad more at roughly 30mm.

See Floppy's thread on this subject, it might help. https://www.s2ki.com/...ese-wheels-fit/

Or the Wheel fitment guide here: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/342...fitment-guide/

Depends what you're after; if it's jounce control on a bumpy B-road, then you wanna be within 5mm (ideally) of stock.

If it's hellaflush stance, WGAF.

No; there's only very few wheels that are correctly-sized for the car.

Other than Mugen or RAYs, there's:

Advans

These are what's already on your car mate Well that's if your still running the Slipstreams?

You can fit 255 to these...but in an ideal world you want wider. How did you think they felt when SC'ed

Yeah, but that's getting quite wide unless you're into massive power.

Wider rims seem to come with a better selection of offsets though; it's then matching the fronts that can be troublesome.

I remember Rota made a big hullabaloo about making S2000-specific cheapies and then promptly fucked the job up with one of the ugliest designs in Christendom (about a decade anachronistic for the car) and the incorrect offsets - as they usually do with most of their nicest replicas.

Thing is, most JDM cars come with a +55 offset these days, so there's no excuse.
