Sorry to hear about this but am glad that everything seems to be ok and you are not injured. Good luck and hope the car doesn't have too much damage.

Bad luck BB

Can't give any more useful advice than peeps have already - make sure you do get the car checked out properly though as Kobe says. It would be easy for a garage just to replace any bent/broken bits, when other unseen, but critical, bits could have been knocked out also.

Whenever its wet in mine, I take it easy or, if pushing on, drive extra smooth and concentrate really hard, as if I am expecting the back to go at any moment.

Sorry to hear of the news but with everyone else - get the laser alignment done properly. I had just a smal off setting once my Honda garage had done it and slightly missed the etting on the left hand side and the car felt very skittish.

Make sure you get done properly by Honda and ask for a print out of the results pre and post adjustment.

Any bent stuff - pics please.
Had a look under the car today at National Tyres in Ayr where I had the laser alignment done. The mechanic could see nothing dodgy either, but I'll get it into Honda tomorrow if possible. The tracking was indeed out by 4mm, so he zero'd it, but on the way home I noticed the steering wheel is still a few degrees out.

I get the impression that not all laser alignments are equal.

Some places seem better than others, and a Honda dealer does not necessarily guarantee a decent job in this area from what I gather.

for the incident....when you say a road you have been driving for years...this is in an S2000? or similar? don't underestimate the difference between cars fitted with fancy ESP systems and ones with an LSD.
Only car I've had with fancy electronics was the TT, and you're right it treats you like an infant. I've only ever had FWD cars apart from that, and know the road very well. Must just have to re-learn it for moist conditions in the S.

Arnold Clark Honda in Kilmarnock sorted the car today for nothing (I assume because the car's under warranty). The guy said that all the settings were a mile off, and that National Tyres obviously hadn't helped in the slightest. Will be going to see them to get my
