Now I know people hate this kind of thread a "which oil" but wanted to gauge opinion. Last 2 oil changes I have just used Shell Helix Ultra, was recommended it. However this time Opie cant guarantee it in time,need it for weekend and its on back order, So they have suggested 2 other alternatives:

1) Motul 8100 X-cess

2) Fuchs Titan GT1 XTL

Similar price and seem to both have positive reviews, basically which one should I go for?

 

I've just ordered Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5w40 and Fuchs LSD oil which should be here around now

They have it in the service kit bit which is new i believe?

 

So what you're asking is: which oil?

Quickly before Simon locks the thread: the Motul is what I've used the last few times.

 

Why not just keep using Shell Helix Ultra 5w-40? It's always on offer at ECP, usually much cheaper than the Motul and Fuch.

It is fully synth and if it's good enough for Ferrari, it's got to be ok in the S2000!
