Numbers are for the correct tightening 7/8th on the bigger filter and 3/4 on the smaller filter (as per destructions written on each filter)

I have noticed the smaller one is made by a different company than the other, I guess Honda could have changed suppliers and are part way through using up old stock. The two larger ones I got came on a parts order direct from HUK not dealers parts stock.

 

That part number on my larger ones are the same as those posted by Amuse Boy, they also look identical to mine.

 

Mikey, did you ever find anything to tighten it up with?

Unfortunately, it doesn't work. As you turn anti-clockwise it grips the filter, which is great for getting them off and bugger all use for tightening them up.

 

I did the same but that is actually for REMOVING oil filters

Bought one from Halfords yesterday that uses a metal band to clamp round the filter.
