Default The old "indicate and move at the same time" ploy

Arse

Please excuse the crappy pics, it's dark and I've still got a mild case of the shakes.

Brief summary - big junction in Reading (Rose Kiln Lane outside the BP for those who know it), two lanes go straight over with a turning to the right halfway along. I'm in right lane going straight on, Yaris in the left lane decides she wants to turn right after all.

So she indicates and turns. Giving me enough time to stamp on the brakes, lean on the horn and slide gracefully into the side of her.

Oh it's drivable by the way. Dunno if the front suspension's been affected though, will have to wait and find out.

I appreciate it's not actually that bad in the scheme of things, but I've never had a prang ever. I'm more than a little gutted.

Bad luck Graham - at least you've got a witness and you're OK. Is it still driving OK ie "just" the body work?

Tough break. It's very difficult to predict & avoid that type of behaviour. Hope you get it sorted, without any additrional insurance hassle, soon

I hope she's GOT insurance. She seemed a bit confused when trying to work out if she was covered for her damage, so I'm hoping it's just lack of English comprehension (she wasn't fluent by any means - Polish) and she only has 3rd party rather than not having any at all.
