Default One problem after the next

Jumped in the S today looking forward to a lovely roof down drive. The weather was great, bit cold but lovely sunshine! Went to put the roof down and heard a dreaded crack, I knew what it was straight away. About a five inch crack down the middle of the screen (plastic screen, y reg). It must have still been frozen from the night before? So the question is now what to do? Anyone know the cheapest places to get the screen replaced or fixed? I'm super skint at the moment, its such a pain in the arse! Cheers guys.

Oh really cheers dude! Would love to replace the whole thing but don't reckon the funds can stretch to it just yet. Think some sort of repair or replacement is the only option. So annoying, has it happened to anyone else?

Its happened to quite a few , i think most repair with tape until they change the whole roof.

Just a thought but you could try the MG/classic car forums.

I had the same thing happen to my rear screen on an MG Roadster. I got a local company to stitch a new one in.

This problem must happen to those guys and I bet they don't go out and buy new roofs.

Here's one such company based in Coventry, and they will do S2000's.
