Default One Week Away

I'm one week away from picking up MY04. I'd really appreciate some advice as to what I should be giving the dealer a hard time about before I drive MY04 away. Any Advice? I have seen that some people have have problems with transportation suspension spacers which has made me a little nervous but is there anything else that I should be looking to question the dealer about?

Dealer is Tachbrook and to date I haven't seen anything bad about them but would be interested in comments from anyone else who has purchased from them.

On the Tech FAQ neil keeps up to date - there is a PDI sheet (I think) Also you could do something like this:

In general though Tachbrook are a good dealer - and well known on this board. They also read the forums AFAIK

PDI work aside, Hondas and in particular the S appear to be pretty damn good as delivered. Like good straight out of the box.

The main thing to do is to run her in properly, difficult and tempting as it is to VTEC, you need to follow the rules in the FAQ.

I'll tell you one thing though you are going to love her from the moment you first press that little red button.

oh, and come to some of the meets, in Marlow, you aren't that far away from the Herts meet (1st Thursday of each month) or the Surrey meet (next one is on the 13th). I travel to Wycombe every Monday so I know it only takes about 35 minutes to get to Surrey meet location from Marlow.

Here's the link to the Surrey meet thread.

Thanks for the info...not looking forward to the fustration of running in at all but have digested the info on the FAQ list and will try to be good. :-)

We will try and make the Surrey Berks meet - I guess that you'll be looking for a topless meet by the sounds of it!! Now I am wondering why I decided to buy a GT when the summer is on it way!! I'm sure that it will be worthwhile when October/November comes round.

I picked up my 04 from Tachbrook a couple of weeks ago. They are usually pretty good. We've had no problems and I know I'm not the only one on board to use them.

It won't do any harm though to sound knowledgable about the car and go through the list on the FAQ section.
