Default Oooops..

Hi all ..

long time lurker, first time poster.. under sad circumstances.. I just had a bit of a tumble with my S... was going up a fen road, not going fast changed gear and it bit, think I hit a bump as I was letting the clutch back in.. anyway.. went in the ditch backwards came round back onto the road.. car is a bit of a mess.

Personally I reckon its wrote off, just wondering a couple of things..

1) Can I take the tax off of it (its got 9 months to run)
2) what sort of valuation should I go in with on the insurance? its (was) an 02 black with red interior 22kk miles Honda service history... good pre accident condition.

Thanks in advance

Neil

when you negotiate with the insurers make sure you have got several examples of for sale cars of similar age and miles. I did this when I wiped out a gti-6 and I managed to increase their offer considerably and easily

soz to hear you stuffed it but of course the most important thing is you're ok

should get yourself down the hospital imo if your head or neck hurts, hopefully its nothing but sounds like it wants looking at

if (lets hope not) you do end up with neck problems that could stop you working for a few weeks you want to be able to be compensated by the insurance company too
