Default Ooops!

Just been a complete c@ck! Cars been standing for 2 weeks so I thought I'd check the oil. Loosened the filler cap in preparation for top up, check the dip stick and no oil required. Shut the bonnet and drove off on a spirited run for 20 mins nd now have no filler cap!

Has anybody got the part no. for a new filler cap? Are the filler caps common across the whole Honda range?

Cheers

Coxy

Have a good look down the back of the engine.

I "lost" mine under similar circumstances. Then a year or so later had the gearbox changed, and there it was.

Dembo,

Thanks...will have another look tomorrow morning.

AdrianEagle,

Am living in Austria and don't know where, or even if they have scrap yards...let alone how to ask for an oil filler cap in German. Am after the part no so that I can walk straight into a Honda stealer and get the right part.

Jakesalter,

Is that the whole part no? It seems a bit short for a Honda part no.

Cheers

Coxy

I dropped mine down the back of the engine a few years back.

Took an absolute age and a few dislocated joints to retrieve it!
