Default Order placed!

As you may (or may not) know I've spent the last few months trying to decide between the S and the 350Z. Yes, they are different types of car, but I wanted something fast, something sporty, something desirable, something different (to the norm). So that's why I came up with both of these.

Last weekend I did back to back roadtests in both and was left struggling to decide as both were bloomin' brilliant. Now as buying both wasn't really an option one had to go.

So, likes and dislikes:

S2000 Likes: Engine noise, speed, open-top, the ability to shake off just about anything, strong residuals.
S2000 Dislikes: Engine noise, bit tight when roof up, getting in and out.

350Z Likes: Engine noise, speed, ability to shake off just about anything, interior, strong residuals.
350Z Dislikes: (Arguablly) the Nissan badge is not as good as a Honda one, not quite as raw, not much else.

So, after much deliberation and soul searching I decided that the 350Z was the better car for me. As much as I loved the S2000 and would take one in a minute, I think longer term the 350Z and I will be much happier. It really was a difficult choice to make.

I'm now expecting to be flamed and banned from this site, but I'd like to stick around here. Perhaps we could have an S2000/350Z Jock meeting, OK maybe not then.

I'd like to thank everyone who responded to my newbie questions - they were all a great help.

Cheers!

Don't think you'll get flamed mate, maybe just a bit of a dig.
Keep an eye on the Jock Meet thread, we'll be more than happy to see you come along. I've been wanting to have a closer look at the 350Z myself.
We've had some recent joint meets with the RX8 crew.

Congrats on the new car, hope you get it soon.

I think that's 6 of us now. We're slowly taking over.

Haven't actually been on one yet, but by all acounts the S2Ki crew have problems keeping up! Mind you, they do have electronic gizmos and the roads were wet.
Well, that's the excuses they've been using anyway

My foot was sore from the altitude, and my ear was quite red from my new pillowcase.

We'll get em next time

Iain is one to talk any way he was a whole week behind me!

Mike didn't seem to have any trouble with the RX8's IIRC.
