Where are you based mate?, im from cumbria.
Well update is - Honda want to go insurance route - want to do a proper job, new wing, new alloy etc... lots of dosh...

Yes, fairly easy mate.
Bolts on, just have to swap over the badges and indicator.
the inner plastic arch just pops off mostly.
You'll need to spens a little time realigning the new one and this doesnt always seat quite the same as a new one.
Hard to tell if the one you buy is repaired anyhow.
There arent many virgin cars out there tbh.
I would dress, skim and paint for simplicity.
A good panel beater will make short work of that job.
Did it hit a kerb? If so that may have done some substantial suspension damage.

Kerb - Not sure, she can't remember - however she has been known to miss out important details when it come to fessing up - so I would have thought probably yes - either way I'll get geo/suspension checked as well....
