I want to order Silverstone with Red leather - Has anyone got any pictures of a red interior, so that I can make sure it's not too much.... Or if anyone can give a description of the '02 models red interior, I would be very grateful.

Scrap the last question found some US pictures.... Anyone know if they do read seats and black dash ?? All red is too much in your face....

Red is without doubt the best

 

Only in Japan now. There, you custom order you S2000. On the 2000-01 S2000 models worldwide, they had a black/red interior. You could trade with someone with a 2001. Or, if you only want a black dash, you can buy one for something like $250 US from Honda.

The standard Silver/Red in the UK is Red Seats, Red Carpets, Red leather door inserts with black door panels and black dash. Im prettry sure this is still available, I take it youve seen tha 'all red - st valentines day masacre' version and like most are disgusted by it. Silver with Red/Black is far more subtle and suits the car very well.

 

The UK has 2 Red interior options for Silverstone.
The full Red is as per our US cousins...red dash, carpet, seats, doors, centre console and pretty much everything else red.
The other option is red seats, black dash, black door panels, black centre console, red carpet.
Beno has the 2nd option in his car...both versions are different to the MY00 and MY01 cars which had red door panel inserts and red centre consoles as well.

Good description.... Just read the whole thread on the US site for the red interior. It does seem that whilst it does appeas to a minority, Honda may have made a big mistake here. The general consensus appears to be that Honda have ballsed it up (wonder if they will see the error of their ways and change it back)

The '01 black/red was nice, not too OTT.... Well I'm off to change my order to Silver/Black.

Cannot agree more , as suggested by UKjasonm the red/black with Silverstone is the Dogs Danglies , but I may just be a tiny bit biased on this point .

The all red does look a bit like a tarts boudour , or so I am advised having not ever frequented one !

Obviously this is only my personal opinion and I am not inferring that anybody else has a lack of tast ect , I do not want to be sued for deformation of caracter . So please do not get upset if do drive a tarts thingy

sorry If I offended you, its just my own personal opinion, if the full red works for you then great. As someone said in another post, 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder' .

I'll give you another example, popstars at the weekend (Im forced to watch it by the missus, honest!!!). Anyway Kylie Mingoue comes on and they say 'the lines closes when the fallas stop going phow!!', personally I think shes looks like a horse gone wrong and wouldnt give her a 2nd look, which brings me further waya from the subject but keeping with the kylie theme, I was out with the lads from works and they were having this Kylie verses Victoria Beckham thing, they all went for Kylie and I was the only VB man, for me that all had bad taste but it just goes to show we all cant like the same thing.

Im sure youll enjoy your car and full pimpterior when it comes just as much as I enjoy my semi pimpterior.
