A work colleague's S has started throwing up a CEL and my code reader (Geniscan) logs it as a [/B]P0122 - pedal position sensor[B]


Its a new one on me - anyone know where the fault may lie ?

The car was left for 2 weeks while he was away and the light came on after a short while driving.

Mine threw up 2 of these codes.

Its a throttle position sensor - low voltage error.

I reset the light, cleaned the throttlebody, disconnected the sensor cable and re-seated it and thankfully all good so far.

Nothing to worry about hopefully.

Check the throttle cable tension too Andrew!
