Default Paint blemish

On my new S, I just noticed quite a large blemish on the side panel paint, which was not visible on my 2 viewings . It seems like it was hidden by the polish which got washd away by the rain in the past few days (must have not been proper polish, but the little wax contained in body shampoo or something).

I've only had a the car since Saturday, and not very happy with the fact they were hiding it. Do I have like a cooling off period from a dealer within which I can cancel the purchase, unless they sort it out?

Since I got fooled on 2 occasions, I know I can hide it by polishing it well, but that's not the point

It is f****** annoying the first time you wash your car after buying from a dealer they don't half slap the touchup and polish on

If your not happy take it back to the dealership,or you could tackle the area with a decent polish/wax to see how it looks after. All the dealership will do is that unless you demand a respray.. If i were you i'd have a go with the polish/wax...

Do a fairy liquid wash to all the car to strip all the polish/wax,this will allow you to check other panels for dealership cover ups and give you a great starting base.. Then do a full detail, clay bar,polish,seal,wax.. Or get an expert for you to do it. There are a few on here..

Berlinas come up beautiful when they are done...

Thanks for the tips guys.

TBH, I do love the car, and I love combo of Moon rock, black leather, and the wheels which have been powder coated in darker shade.

Having slept on it, my thoughts now is - since they were able to hide it from me with a little wax, I may just do the same, and use some serious elbow grease

I have ordered a new batch of Autoglym stuff - body shampoo, high definition wax and leather care stuff.

I have found a bottle (opened) from about 3 years ago which still has about half left. Do you think it's Ok to still use it, or should I bin it, and get fresh lot of this as well?
