Default Passenger Footwell Storage Net

Just wandering if the passenger footwell storage net is fitted as standard to the passengers side and if anyone has fitted the same to drivers side.

Why would you want it on the driver's side - surely it'd get in the way?

Maybe blagg a net from a LH drive car? I would have liked a red net for my car.

Actually I have duplicated the passenger footwell net for the drivers side. The net came from Demon Tweeks and is about the same size as the OE ( except black ).
I use it to store a pair of fingerless mits (for summer) and thin full size gloves
(winter). Within the net is also a very small pouch for a mobile phone.
As the net contents are thin I'm barely aware of its presence.

I also bought 2 more nets to create storage zones in the far left and right corners of the boot. Maximises use of the awkward areas & works a treat keeping oddments from flying about.

BB............thanks for the reply. Would I have to source a L/H drive one? Would they not be the same? How were the Demon Tweeks nets secured?

Me being thick - of course you could just get a net from any scappy - no need for LHD BTW I did try and poke about with a sharp long pin to see if there are pre-drilled holes down by the drivers knee which on a LHD car would be were the OE net is secured.

The DT nets are secured by neat clips that fit over any part of the plastic covered metal frame. Black self tappers are supplied which when screwed through the carpet/boot lining make the net very secure.
Used this arrangement for 3 years on the Honda and earlier on an MX-5.

Have't seen a DT catalogue for a long time so no idea if such nets are still listed - there were 2 sizes.
