Default Passenger Window not operational

Hi there,

I did a very silly thing yesterday. I drove back from Guildford to London in glorious sunshine. I went to a restaurant with my girlfriend who promptly told me to put my roof up as we were under a tree. I didn't.

3-hours later at 21:30 I emerge from restaurant with it pouring with rain.

I run to car and manage to get roof up and windows up. I clean out car and further cleaned out this morning.

Everything is fine, if needing dehumidifying, apart from the passenger window which now appears to be not functioning.

I'm a plonker I know. What is the likely outcome regarding work on this? I'm guessing it's not a fuse as both windows would have tripped - so my thoughts are with a wet solenoid of some description?

Please help and advise!

Thank you.

We're not allowed to answer this until you've had another look round the inside of your car or done a search...

I have completed a search: "roof left open" - to no avail.

You need to remove the window motor from the passenger door - put in the oven at 180 deg C for 2 hours.

Allow to cool and refit to the car.

Ps could you not see it was raining? If not, i'm guessing you couldn't see your car, which i wouldnt do as I never leave the roof down unless it's in sight..
