Hi all

Can anyone tell me how long penalty points last on your licence?

I think 3 years Ron, but insurance companies will ask if you have received any in the last 5.

Ask Jo, I hear she likes to keep a healthy bank of them just in case she ever runs out

3 years in terms of "totting up" towards your 12 points limit.

4 years before you can physically get them removed.

5 years for the purposes of most insurers when they ask whether you have had any motoring convictions.

Er..that's so they can fleece you for more.

As usual, fudge....like the "packers" who decide.

It should be 3 yrs then they disappear. But no...its 3 yrs, well 4 actually...but well actually its 5
