Red S2000, I would be interested in buying your rear perspex window but would need someone to fit it in the London area for a reasonable fee. I have questioned lots of trimmers and they either say no or quote

well.. if you are willing to drive down to Maidstone these guys sound like a good firm - have no personal experience of them though.

"At Chequers Auto Upholstery Ltd we manufacture & fit a wide range of top quality after market soft tops. After 30 years experience in the car trimming industry we decided to pattern and manufacture our own quality replacement convertible hoods. We also offer a window repair & fitting service for most convertible models. Tel 01622 739182 Monday to Friday 9 to 5"

looks like the fitting takes place somewhere else.... Even on your driveway

"At our head office near Maidstone in Kent we manufacture all of our own replacement soft tops. The fitting of these hoods takes place at our workshops: 5-7 Croydon Road, London, SE20 7TJ. Its possible on some models for customers to sit in the comfort of a reception area while their new hood is fitted by one of our team of professionals. I've just had a stranger grilling me on what to do about his sons S's split screen. I pointed him in the direction of the forum.

I did the same thing 2 weeks ago, meanwhile bought the enteire roof with glass window from topsonline.com, 380 quid including taxes. With the feeting it should be like 650-700.

I came over there to do some work at the Coke bottling plant a few years ago (ie when they were building it), a lovely part of the country! Stayed at Beleek Castle and had a great time! anyway back on topic!

OK, well tried Chequers Auto Upholstery Ltd but unfortunately they do not manufacture an S2000 hood or repair S2000 rear windows so that rules them out.

Topsonline.com seems like a good price for supply of a full hood ($684 delivered with glass window and stayfast canvas) but I still don`t know anyone who can fit it or just repair the rear plastic window for a fair price in London....any ideas anyone?

Sorry not had a chance to get back, been so busy. I will be getting a price tomorrow on some roof replacements in Bromley for vinyl glass, mohair glass . I have a friend that is a very good Honda technician that said he would help me fit it and as a previous thread he has access to all the fitting guides. If you all where interested in purchasing hoods from over the water might be worth setting up a group buy, or at least go half

Philss2000, split my rear screen at the weekend and your roof fix sounds good. Any chance your mechanic would be interested in doing another roof?! I'm in Cork but have no problem travelling.

Bad news Rebel Red, spoke to the mechanic last night and he is fully booked out for the next two months. He only works from home on a Saturday. He also wasn't overly excited about doing other. Sorry about that.
