Plastic rear screen
I guess this has been done to death, but I have just been told by Whitehouse Bexleyheath that Honda won't replace mine on warranty. I have been told to use a product which I can purchase from Halfords to solve the problem.
I thought this was a warranty item, what should I do next?
The screen is really bad and i am not looking forward to using it when the hardtop comes off.
Cheers

An ancient chap in an ancient auto spares shop told me this "trade secret" (to get rid of that translucent effect):
WD40... no kidding, it works.
Doubtless I'll be followed by all the official products, buy hey
Also, just FYI, wipe bird sh!t off the plastic asap - mine got melted! Also (2), the rubber on a squigee (shurely shome shpelling mishtake?) will leave tiny scratches on the plastic - best avoided.

What problem have you got with the screen?
StevenM, it is badly fogged and it is not possible to see through it. I have tried the BMW rear screen product, but it didn't do too much for it after 2 applications.
I have read about the 80 degree C water bulletin, but am a little skeptical. As if it makes it worse then it will cost me more to replace.

I would avoid this! This is supposed to get the rear screen flat but I think it was the cause of the closing problems that resulted in the screen being replaced.
Well from what I hear the best thing to use is lens cleaner from your local opticians! The solution isn't harmful and should do a wonderous job.
Luckily I work for a contact lens manufacturer, so next time I am down the warehouse, I think I may grab some

I had this problem with mine. Completely fogged up and no amount of washing would clear it.
Bought some specialist cream stuff which did not do what it said on the tin.
Plexus has restored mine and used every couple of weeks, keeps the rear plastic screen completely clear.
Do a search on Plexus, there was a thread requesting suppliers over the past few weeks.
