Default Please Help

I have searched up and down through the forums looking for an answer to this and i can't seem to find anything - although i have learned a few things

When i accelerate hard my car pulls or shoots quickly to the left... if i release it again quickly it seems to pull back over to the right. My friend bought an mcoupe last week and he was curious to see or feel the difference between the two cars so he took mine out...

His first impression was... "it's very snappy and a little jumpy on the road when you are accelerating hard"

What could this be? I thought this was called "kangarooing" but after some research i think not

I have 4 Potenza RE 050 all round with tyre pressure set to 32

Should i be worried about this... does anyone know what this could be

thanks in advance

are you absolutely positive that your pressures are set right?

Check them again.

If it's not tyre pressures, it's going to be geo/tracking. But this symptom is usually tyre pressures.

First thought (to me) would be that your alignment needs looking at. Mine acts similar sometimes, as I haven't had my geo done properly yet.

EDIT: Additionally (after chilled's post) my tyre pressures are equal all round too.

Either that or uneven tyre wear, has one side had a new tyre on the rear and the other has not?

I think all of these are ok... when i mean it shoots to the left... it really does shoot over hard, especially if you are high up in the revs and then floor it.

I dropped the car in to get the alignment and tracking done on it last week and it was out. They couldn't move one of the bolts so they have lubricated it and i have to drop it back into them tomorrow but i am just surprised at how extreme it pulls

I know this sounds mad, but check all of your subframe bolts.

If any have worked loose, they will move under load and distort your geometry.

I had this when I first got the car and realised the rear tyres were different sizes (widths) !!!

id put money on one of your rear tyres being flat... this is just what the car does with wrong tyre pressures - if they are 100% ok get each wheel off and inspect the tyre - any problem setup will be shown in the tyre wear...

Stupid question, but have you tried this on different roads? Crap roads often cause this sort of weirdness.
