Default Polybush'ing the suspension...

I'm thinking of going down the route of fitting uprated polybushes over the entire suspension but wondered if anyone had had this done and what the outcome was? Does it make a huge difference to handling/feel of the car.

I know that it'll obviously kill two birds with one stone in terms of sorting out any seized bushes as well (and of coure i'd get the Geo done too) but wondered if the gains were worth the additional cost. I know that Garage R were doing a deal a while back for the full set for £1000.

Also, has anyone uprated the engine mounts and how easy is that task? Again, will the car feel better with them or will it just make it more "raw".

Thanks

Neil

I am going to get innovative 75a engine/transmission mounts at some point they make a big difference to the drive of any car. You feel as though throttle response has improved massively and although the car feels more balanced.

Had esmm on my dc5 and they were the best thing I ever fitted to it.

Poly on thesuspension not so much I did this on my 350z and it was not worth themoney unless of course your Caria a100,000 mile job then it might

Full polybushes and a geo totally changed my 2006.

I had to drive out with rears done only and return for the rest the next morning and I could even feel a night and day difference there before the geo.

It makes a big difference.

Ride becomes a little harder, but it tightens everything up and you definitely get more feedback with the poly kit on.

Other major advantage is that you eliminate any seized bushes and the potential for any future seizures.

Cost wise, to get it done at an outfit such as Garage R or Center Gravity, I'd say budget 1k minimum and possibly more if any issues are encountered removing the old bushes.
