power steering

EPS (Electronic Power Steering) light should be on on the the dashboard. It's happened to me too. If you drive the car for a couple miles, it will go away.

Yup, try and drive it to clear it which was why I asked if it was a startup fault or not.

If it doesn't clear you have a problem.

Check the fluid level and get the fault code from the ECU next.

Why did your battery go flat? EPS fault of merely lack of use.

You could try disconnecting/re-connecting battery, see if that clears it.

Quickest diagnosis might be from daeler, if not.

I dont get chance to use it

The last few time I have had to use jump leads
