it just looks seamless but it's very deliberate individual inputs..
I can remeber Jackie Stewart saying the the best way to turn in was to start of gentle, become more agressive and then ease off.
Also with braking - start off gentle, then go hard and then be gentle at the end to settle the car.
I practiced it when when I did the Clio Cup series. That last bit of braking should be gentle but enough so that the weight was still over the front wheels so that the tyres bit and you got a positive turn in.

Goes against logic constantly tapping the throttle mid turn!
