Default Problem with soft top

Hello everyone just joined the forum !! After a long wait and a lot of saving I have just bought a UK 04 GT in Silverstone with red and black, very pleased to say the least. I was broken hearted yesterday when cleaning it, I noticed a tiny slice on the outside of the soft top, when I looked on the inside there was considerable wear caused by a burr of metal on the soft top frame/mechanism. I was gutted..
Any one else experience this problem , or had a roof replaced ? I would hope this would be warrantied as I am on my way to a local dealer today

Should be a warranty fix. Get it into the dealers.

Was it from a Honda dealer?

Worse case scenario you can reject the car under the 30 day policy.

Hope it all works out though.

I bought it privately from the first keeper , but it is a UK car bought from a Honda dealer in March 2004 so warranty should not be an issue , I took it to Saunders Honda , Chester today ,who took photos and will give me a decision from Honda tomorrow.

Be sure to fill in the dealer Survey as Saunders are not on there!
2 Mills are but have not been that good.
