Default Problems fitting 245's

I'm shopping around for tyres at the moment and when I've mentioned going for 225 S02's then asked for a quote on 245 F1's (as recommended on the Tech thread) I've had a couple of people suck thier teeth and say you might have trouble getting 245's on those rims'.

Any one had any experience of that?

I thought that everyone who had F1's had 245s me thinks the tyre dealers have been listening to the Honda Dealer Tyre Education package

Sure you'll get loads of yes they fit responses!

Sometimes I wonder why so called specialists in their field don't know as much as enthusiasts...

Never had this problem and yes they do fit!

I think you will find that OEM S02s are closer to 245 than 225 if you measure them.

Just to confirm Rob's prediction, no problems with 245 F1s on the rears either.

Depends on what type of wheel, Pontio. Fletch runs 18" Volk TE-37s on his car - he can probably confirm what size tyres they take.

I run 18s - 225 front, 255 rear. Think carefully about 18s though, rears are

Have they changed the drive of the car at all? better handling or worst acceleration?
Do you have any pics of your car with the alloys on?
I see you also have various mods done to your vehicle, hks exhaust etc. did you purchase these things from a website? local shop?
Whats all this Muz stuff every1 goes on about in here?
