To point you in the right direction - look at mine from the side. A beautiful car (especially for a jap rocket)

See the difference, the top one looks great, the other doesn't.
Cardiff, take no notice of the 'OEM Joe's' - I like seeing people try out different things - might be to some tastes but not to others...and I tend to take small bits from other peoples ideas.

If it makes you happy...go for it. - each to his own and all that.

Looking forward to seeing it with its proper shoes on

What and sticking loads of plastic shite on it does that ?

Especially with a shocking paint job. Was it a bare metal respray, engine out job or are the engine bay/exposed boot sections/door sills still black ???

Thanks mate, tints should be ok, they are only looking so dark because it was almost dark when pictures were taken (hence why paint looks a bit dull) and also because the soft top roof is not tinted and when the hard top is off they look alot lighter because more light gets into the cabin.
I just feel its dangerous as the S doesnt have the best view to begin with whilst having the soft top on. And since you have only 2 side windows.

Good luck with your other bits, the only thing i want for my S is rear OEM spoiler, and thats me finished, after the comments from the mrs, im getting the OEM spoiler lol!

I actually quite like the front bumper, but not so sure about the sides and the rear.

I can't really tell the colour of the paintwork, need better photos.

I agree with Shipley, UK is quite conservative in a lot of things IMHO. I'm sure you'll get a lot from US side.

To be fair to Cardiff, I think it will look miles better when finished than it does now.

Also, that paint just looks black to me!

Your probably right. Could just be the light and the wheels.....
I probably would have had the bonnet coloured to match though if I was respraying it.

Cardiff... I think the car looks cool!

Its good to be different and give your own car that unique touch.

I agree, you definately need some good rims, and the side skirts are a little funky.

But once your car is finished and seen in the flesh, im sure all the sceptics will change their minds.

Good on you mate!!!!

P.S. Should have some pics of my modified MY00 soon

Think your being a bit too harsh to be honest, and like i said the pictures dont do the paint any justice. Thats the problem with much of these forums, anyone who goes that little but further gets ridiculed, we all like different things and I would never slate anyone like you have done.
Firstly, if you'd read what I was originally going to post, you wouldn't think my actual posted comments are harsh (They had something to do with 5 year olds and Pritt Stick)

Secondly, I assume you posted on a public forum, because you wanted people to comment on it. If you don't like my comments, stop posting pictures of this abomination.
