Default Pulling to the left under acceleration

Hi guys,

My 2009 S2k seems to be pulling to the left even under light acceleration at motorway speeds. I recently had the right rear tyre replaced (same make/ model) due to a slow puncture. I cheaped out on replacing both because there was still 5-6mm tread left.

Could this be the sole reason? Or could it be something else (balancing/ suspension prob).

Advice gratefully received.

Check all the tyre pressures. I doubt a slightly newer tyre would cause this

I had this exact thing early this year after replacing both rears with Bridgestones. Turned out the fronts were worn and couple this with incorrect tyre pressures (Never trust the tyre fitters !) made for some very interesting handling under hard accelaration.
As previous Guy said check pressures first but uneven tyre wear can be an issue on the S - all according to centre of gravity whom I quickly visited after experiencing the frightening handling, good luck

Mine used to do this when the rear tyres were getting low, mainly because I had a penchant for roundabouts, so the rear left used to wear quicker than the rear right.

If the tyre pressures and wear seem correct then get the geo checked.

I know it should be fine, however a recent tyre replacement by an authorised dealer literally smashed the geo way off on my car.
(i have no idea what the hell they did to achieve this!)

Probably by jacking the car up on something they shouldn't have.

Thanks everyone. Although, I now have car-hypochondriasis.

I'll get the dealer to check the geo at next service. The front tyres also need replaced soon, so that may be the prob (ESP light comes on in the dry, and not because of oversteer!).

What is it about this time of year and motoring costs...

Have you actually checked the tyre pressures? You'll probably find that is the cause.
