Having had a quick look, I think it was the suction kit I had read had received bad reviews, rather than the manifold. I'm sure there's plenty about it on the board, but the search engine sometimes makes it a chore to find it.

If Lee is selling the stuff in a personal capacity, I guess that's fair enough.

Apparantly they had 3 headers they couldn't shift, so Lee purchased them job lot and is selling them on.

I am sure it wont be better an intake than the one on the car although I have no proof of this.
I hope so to as it's an exhaust manifold

Mark hasnt said that he thinks non members should not be allowed to sell. He said that commercial for sale notices are not allowed. Which is correct.

If this was the case, people would just stump up $20 for free advertising, which is what the site owners want to avoid.

The guideline on the US FS&W forum is that only OWNERS can sell - gets rid of dodgy gear stolen parts (to a certain extent).

On the UK FS forum the CO's decided to make it policy to allow anyone to post, members only to post non S2000 related stuff, and commercial posts only by arrangement with the CO's. That is much more leniant than the Main s2ki FS forum.

The reason for the difference in policy is that the National and regional forums are given discretion as to how they want the rules to best suit their users. As most of the stuff posted on the main s2ki forum is in the USA - the dedicated UK FS forum was set up here. It would have been quite easy (but needs a lot more moderation input) to just use the policy on the main forum, but we felt that was too restrictive for the UK community.

Hope that clarifies the current position.

and if Lee is selling stuff personally then it is fair enough, but he is somehow commercial himself by making a profit, if indeed that is what he is doing

AE thanks for the info and I know about this already. Do you however think it might be a good idea to introduce a similar system. If the only reason a person signs up to this forum is to sell their goods then I for one am opposed to it from a security perspective. Maybe there is no way around this and we keep the status quo.
