Default Quick question...

How on earth do you get it off? I've managed to release the clips apart from the ones that are nearest the roof controls..they wont budge.

Thanks.

Just this evening swapped mine for a RobinA3 gaiter. Undo the 14mm nut under the gear knob and remove the gear knob. Pull the console surround off (just clips, ease them all off). Unclip the 3 switch connectors (there's a little tab you have to press to allow you to pull each one out). lift the console surround over the handbrake lever (pull lever up to make it easier). On the back of the surround, remove 2 screws holding the roof switch in place. Remove the screw that was underneath it. Now removethe screw between the other two switches. Finally, remove the two screws holding the rear portion of the gaiter surround in place. All done.

Yep have to get the whole centre console off. All that work just for a gaiter change.

Why is it madness to have to remove the centre console, to get at something that comes through the centre console?!
