Default Quick trip to Phoenix today

Right, lots of cool things happened today at Phoenix.

Some stuff to check for 06 drivers

Wheels are corroded and the centre plates have water trapped under the sealant, Honda apparently are getting alot of 06 S2k Wheels back corroded so it should not be a huge problem getting a warranty replacement.
I plan on putting a couple of coats of poorboys wheel sealant on each wheel before they go on so that it doesn't happen again. The newer wheels have a different coating that should prevent 4 new wheels that wont corrode so much!

Soft top There was someone else that had wearing on the right side of the sof top behind the drivers head where a joint is rubbing off the top, clearly this would end up ruining the soft top and Phoenix don't seem to think it will be a problem replacing it.

Geo Phoenix have a 4 wheel digi allignment thingmy and they've done quite a few s2ks, CTRs and NSXs with it Am proposing a Jockmeet there but need to see what the interest is and check that Phoenix will be willing to do it .

S2000 CR John insisted that there WILL definitely be S2000 CR in the UK, although Honda might not be committing to it he's absolutely sure of it, not that too many care but hey it'll be a nice limited edition to have.

MegaMeet 5 John expressed a real interest in coming along to the Isle of Man in some sort of official capacity. He's a great guy with a wealth of knowledge and a total petrol head, I told him I'd get him the email/phone of the right person to contact, is that AE? He may well be able to bring along something interesting but isn't sure.

Every time I have spoken to Phoenix to try and progress things with The club or forum, they have failed to reply. Get them to email dealers at s2kuk.com

Ian, they are a busy bunch I guess. I'll pass on the email and see if I can't motivate them somehow.

If there's something else you want to progress with them I'll more than happilly help out PM or email me if there's something specific you want me to help out on.

Thanks - appreciate your help - we are all busy so I understand

drop me a line by email - you can use the dealers address too, and I can send you some stuff - might be easier popping in in person

With the weather being crappy in the east I'm doing little other than painting the Nursery at the moment and studying for my last two PPL exams.

Email on it's way!

Interesting. I've got a rather nasty scuff on one of my rear alloys. Would be nice if I could get a replacement under warranty. Think I'll be out removing the poorboys sealant from my wheels later - how long did it take for your wheels to start corroding?
