When your writing your reply, press the quote button above the text entry box. Copy the text you want to quote and paste it next to the [QUOTE] then at the end of the quoted text write [/QUOTE.] (but without the fullstop in )

I think I've got it.

Edit: Not quite

I wanted to do something like on here

Example

Where the separate quotes appear in nice neat boxes

I don't use "QUOTE=" because I get confused, its simply

[QUOTE.]Boy Wonder[/QUOTE.]

so it looks like this (without the fullstops)

Gazzer, I am impressed!

The art of prose is not dead after all.

One thing I like about this website is that most members DO speak in sentences, punctuate and capitalise.

When I see a string of gibberish, I simply cannot be bothered to read it.

Keep up the good work!

There's an easy way to do what GSI did on that post... It's all in the RIGHT click of the mouse button... Try and follow me here.

...

I started by right clicking on the quote button on your post and clicked "open in new window", so I've now got a new window for this reply.
Now I'll go back to the previous window and do the same with another post...

Now what I can do in another window is type a reply to THIS quote.
When I click "preview post" it will give me a complete text, with all the handles, that I can cut & paste back over here... This quote above didn't come out right first time... I had to put another dot in one of the "quote" handles coz it got confused. "Preview post" showed it up.

And again with another one.

There is a "font" "size" and "color" tabs above your post window when you reply.
play around...

Always remember to click on preview post before you send it to see what it looks like.

Simple.

English was never my strong point. I remember my mum making me do 1/2 an hour a day of handwriting practise, when on my school holidays. All I wanted to do was go out on my bike!
