I'm trying to get hold of some new radiator coolant hoses.

I have a new Koyo radiator and now would be an obvious time to change the hoses, when I fit the rad.

I had a quick look on eBay but I'm not too sure about paying £30 for something from China, with no brand.

I saw the Samco ones for about £90, but I wondered what others are using. I also want black.

Also, what about fan switch and thermostat ?? Current ones still work well, so is it worth changing them ??

What's prompted the change up is that I have a small leak somewhere which is concerning me, not pouring out, but I do have to top it up with water often and I had a slight, sweet smelling (coolant), steam coming from the rad a while back.

Anyone's advice would be helpful .

 

Swapping rad hoses is not a particularly easy job as it is can be difficult to get into the clips underneath the intake manifold.

 

I won't be doing it mate, Tom at TGM will .

Yeah, tapped up Si for some, doesn't have black though .

Sold me loads of other bit's I don't need though .
