Wampa,

Try to look before you leap. OK here is what you do

1) see if the ramps will go under the front of the car and touch the wheels BEFORE they touch the bodywork.
2) if yes - then you can try to drive the car onto the ramps. Have somebody watch to make sure the ramps don;t contact the body. If they do STOP immediatly and bin the ramps. Also watch back of car to see if exhaust is hitting the ground. If it is STOP immediatly and bin the ramps.

3) DON'T try to reverse up the RAMPS as it's almost certain that the front with touch the ground.

Step 1 - Jack-up car

Step 2 - Place ramp under wheels

Step 3 - Lower car onto ramp.

Make sure hand brake is on !

Easy - do it all the time and as safe as houses.

Doubt you will be able to drive the car up the ramps.

Do as Rteyp has said. Though I would advise using the central jacking point and putting the ramps under when the whole of the front or rear is in the air.

Don't do one side at a time imho.

Just a thought San, but maybe would could start the SHSM a little earlier and get this done before we kick off.

I've got some axle stands so if you or Wamps has a half decent jack we'd have the makings of a SHSM (lube edition)

Right, Ramps do not fit under the front of the car but do at the rear.

Iam going to take the ramps back and buy a 2.5 tonne trolly jack.(is this good enough)

Where is the best point to jack up the car. I also have some axel stands for extra safety.
