Crush sleeve is quite a cool idea too. I think Js racing sell them. Takes out all the shim hassle for setting pinion bearing preload.

 

He does a good job of explaining something that i'd bet quite a few people thought they knew more about than they really did!

not one mention of the word "pumpkin". seems to be a common term on yank boards refering to the entire diff. god knows whats wrong with the term "housing", or "diff unit".

anyway - good video. i knew alot of it by theory only, and is one of the few things i never got chance todo during my mechanic days.
