As far as I recall, Tamiya did a 1/10th electric kit (TT-01 chassis I think) with an S2000 body that could also be bought separately.

However the cheaper and more popular bodyset was by HPI who did a nice 1/10 scale bodyshell in both 190mm (electric) and possibly 200mm (nitro) sizes. The HPI electric one came with the roof on, but you could buy an interior set too that allowed you to get an open top racer look. These bodyshells should fit most 1/10 cars. You should still be able to pick these up for sale.

Kyosho do a very nice body set for the 1/24 mini-Z cars. i've got one in red to match my car and it's more like a detailed static model than an RC car, even with correct JDM wheels. They are quite hard to come by.

Yip, they did, this is mine.

Tamiya made them a few years ago, however they are almost impossible to find one, let alone a good condition one.

This is the kit http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=58236

I managed to source parts over 8 months, and eventually found a brand new unpainted body with stickers.

Oh, and its an M-04L chassis, the same one used for the VW beetle and Alfa Romeo.

Its RWD, and actually handles pretty well
