This has got to be a wind up right?

I cannot believe they could manage to twiddle those switches with gloves on at speed?!

Impressive if that is the case. I'm suprised it isnt digital now though and can only assume the base camp can make changes and the switches move on their own as otherwise the driver wouldnt know what the current config was?

What's wrong with that? Seriously I think it's perfectly usable at speed. I can adjust my stereo volume, fan speed/temp without taking my eyes off the road because Honda located the controls right where I can reach them.

Tweaking the Brake Balance, ABS Cut In/Traction Control, Fuel Mixture and Rev Limiter should be exactly the same. The LED's at the top are just shuft indicators.

Dead easy.

I think it is genuine - I'm sure they have shown it on 5th Gear or such like.

Radio button is nice, bit of music to break up the journey

Prost's was slightly different.

It had a duplicate fuel gauge with a flashing "PIT NOW YOU MUPPET" above it

They will probably only have to touch some of those dials once or twice a race, I reckon most of the tweaking will be done during practice laps, so everything can set up for the race and then left alone.

That blue knob is a bit Fisher-Price and destroys the image somewhat.

You mean the grey one? It's the same as the black one above it, but coloured differently so you don't get mixed up. Does stand out a bit though.

Apparently one of the reasons why Schumacher is such a good driver is that most drivers only rarely touch these knobs. Schumacher is adjusting things constantly, like brake balance for specific corners. I don't like him but have to admit he's probably the best driver out there.
