Default Rear bumper

Hi folks,

Does anyone know off the top or their head or can go and check quickly, whether the underside of the rear bumper should be painted i.e. if you are looking at one of the rear wheels and look rearward at the bumper, is it painted where the crud collects?

Cheers

It is!
Though there is as small unpainted section between exhausts on both shapes.

Isn't it a give away when it comes to a resale that it may have been in an accident? FWIW (which is very liitle!) I think the black section looks pretty cool.

Possibly, or it could be that it was a facelift job.

On the later bumpers you can't see the unpainted bit unless you get right under the car.

Just looked back at this and maybe I didn't make my question completely clear. When I said underside, I meant the bit you can't see unless you look at the rear wheels and look at the back-side of the bumper. I was wondering if the whole bumper is painted, not just the bits you can see? I know there's a black section on the pre-04s for the foglight on the underside which is what you guys are referring to right?

Thanks

I think I know what you are on about;

This is an 03 car.

If you mean the inside edge around thw wheel arch that is painted. Overall its plastic so it shouldnt be a problem. If this still isn't right then a picture might help us
