This morning I lowered my roof as it was a glorious sunny day and heard a crack as I did so. When the roof was raised again I discovered a split in the rear plastic screen.

I've done a search and there appear to be a few people who have had the plastic screen replaced under warranty, but has anyone had it replaced under the Hondacare extended warranty?

I am certain you will find that the rear screen is not covered by the Hondacare Extended Guarantee as it is a Mechanical Guarantee.

If you have one, look at the first page of the Terms and Conditions and you will see paragraph 6 what is covered and excluded, and paragraph 4 I think it is about what defines a mechanical failure.

This is becoming too common It'll probably sway my decision on whether to get an 04/05 or not.
