Default Rear Stiffener Brackets - Discontinued Manufacture

Hi,

I'm trying to refurb my Honda S2000 after discovering the rear stiffener brackets holding the bumper have rusted away. I can get one of the brackets but looks like the others are discontinued (No. 16 and 18).

Anybody run into a similar issue and managed to get some?

Any leads or ideas welcome.

I saw a thread on the forum on this, I think someone made their own. Perhaps try a search. They aren’t complex brackets, something a skilled welder could do in no time.
good luck!

Hi, I did see that thread but it was years back when it seems the brackets could still be sourced from Honda. I would consider having some made but not sure how to get drawings. Mine are too shot to copy. One has disintegrated completely.

There is an S2000 club member who makes 3d printed plastic replacements. Search for Ondra motorsports

It's these right?

Very rust prone but I think you could just spot weld something on

2 out of the 3 stiffeners are available. Did you look on some of the Japanese parts supply sites? They generally have much better part availability and much better pricing even with all duties paid.
Get familiar with Amayama, theyre brilliant. Lots of parts diagrams for you to go through.
