Default Rear subframe differences

I'm replacing the rear subframe on my uk my2001 car. I'm considering putting a later model subframe on as I believe the changes made to the suspension pick up points made it a little less snappy? Am I correct in thinking this is a direct bolt up replacement apart from the upper wishbones that are different? Anyone else done this and noticed much difference?

Am sure someone will tell you,

Id think that its a direct bolt for the main subframe the suspension side of thing will be different so you'd need facelift wishbones etc but i could be wrong

The older wishbones wont fit, the mounting points are further apart

Also you will need longer bolts

Read it, it was that what got me thinkinking of doing it. He doesn't say if its a direct bolt on or if he had to modify it though but did mention the upper wishbones been different which I knew about.

It was more if/how much of an improvement it would be that I wanted to find out aswell. I'm guessing its not a swop people would normally do unless they need to.
