Default Rear Window - heated?

Are all rear screens in S2000's plastic, I assume so else the roof would not fold down! But are they heated? as in the S2000 brochure it shows a picture of a heated rear screen but all the S2k's I have seen dont have a heated screen?

If they are not heated how the hell do you see out of them when they mist up?

Someone help me out here?

Thanks

Honda introduced a heated glass rear screen in the softtop for the 02 model year. As CC says all hardtops have the heated glass rear screen too.

Plastic rear screens are slightly bigger and are very easy to demist, 20 seconds with the A/C on and any condensation is gone. A well designed ventilation system!!

Plexus and/or Meguiars #17 plastic polish. Also consider Autoglym Motorcycle visor cleaner available from just about all UK motor accessory shops if you are desperate.

Anything is possible for a price

There is a retrofit kit on the way but given the labour charges involved it looks unlikely to be heavily adopted - the money spent would out you quite close to upgrading to a newer car....

To be quite honest the plastic screen is not a major problem to me, a few minutes work every month to keep it in good condition doesn't seem too extravagant for the upkeep of a convertible.
