Default Rear Wing

So the time has come where I start thinking " oh, I like that rear wing".... then " yeah, thatll look nice on mine" .....

I like the look of the Js racing wing... is there any similar alternatives?? Prices?? Matrrials?? Also as I dont own or have access to an aerodynamics facility... how dobwe set the wings up???

I like the look of the medium or higher wings.... do these get in the way when using the boot.... any input welcome.

None of them will do anything unless you are doing 80 mph plus and are on a race track, so I'd just buy based on looks - no real setup needed.

I like the APR300 - I think Haroon has/had one.

Who had the wing at Ace Cafe just gone??
His car was next to the German guys iirc...

Do they give you any trouble when placing a well cut up fresh corpse in the boot??

This is what puts me off. I'm trying to make the car handle better and don't see the point of a 'cosmetic' wing.

Did the wing you flogged to Kim have no noticeable impact during spirit driving ?

Nope. Probably the best you can hope for is negating lift and getting a touch of stability.

Not sure why actual downforce would be needed on a fairly low speed car like the S tbh, as a road car you just don't do the speeds required and any downforce just equates to drag.

Also downforce wouldn't be where I'd look to improve 'handling' You probably want to improve grip, which can be done other ways. Downforce can have adverse effects on handling too.

The wing seems to work on mine at high speed circuits, with plus 80 mph corners, as I've tried adjusting it, but this is a lightweight very low car with a full flat floor.

A GT race car will only produce about 150kg of downforce at 80mph so unless you put a monster wing on the S and are doing the speed to make it work (with other aero) not much will happen IMO.

Money better spent on sticky tyres or a bag of spuds in the boot!

Getting some suspension better than the Meister-Rs might be a good idea for a start.

As I always say, money is best spent learning how to drive better.
