Recommend me....
Found Tangoman's thread on the search but was locked so here we go....
Have got a rare day off on Friday to have some time to myself, sort out things that I can't of an evening-such as go to the DVLA to sort out reg transfers etc etc, anyway, I'm going to spend a couple of hours cleaning the car but just have'nt got all day! So a quick wash and dry and I'm away!
So recommend me the following products that I can go out and buy in Halfords or wherever-I know I'll get it cheaper on the web but they won't arrive by Friday.
Just need the following and I don't mind paying for better gear, hoping

Shampoo- The green Zymol stuff from halfords - 1 cap should be enough for standard 10l bucket
Sponge/Mitt- Meguiars Lambswool mitt or turtle wax do a green flex type mitt also
Chamois- Any decent medium size halfords own brand or better still, a meguiars synthetic water magnet, microfibre drying towel.
Dont forget the Detailing spray to aid drying/prevent drying marks etc! Good luck with the weather...

Meguires gold shampoo.
Sheepskin mit. DO NOT USE A SPONGE, EVER.
Dont use a chamois either.
Go to the cheap shop in town (Wilkinsons or similar) and buy a pack of microfibre towels for a fiver.
Wash them normally after each use -cheaper, last longer, dry better.
Meguires Quick Detailing Spray is very good as mentioned above.
Use the towels you just bought to give a quick buff, once its all spammed up and waxed.
Keeps that just waxed look, do the whole car in about 20min!

I use it after ive dried the car using a microfibre towel.. Give it a few sprays and wipe off using another microfibre.. Makes the car look great with no watermarks... I use Megs Ultimate Quick detailer its the best i've tried and smells nice too!
