310.8 miles and still one bar lit...


Got this mostly from motorway running (from Warwick to Preston and back) over the weekend.

Has anyone ever got more than this from a single tank???

Easy, I got 330+ IIRC, but I'm sure Biker got close to 400 once?

Maybe 2004+ models are more frugal? And mine has done nearly 95k with no sensor changes etc!!

My MY00 was certainly nowhere near this good...

You don't even have to try on an 04+ to get better than 300 on a tank.

My best is 370 miles with 3 litres remaining on fill up.
I'm gonna go for the magical 400 mile record some time soon..

No motorway miles either...

I managed 290 miles on first tank of fuel and had four bars left on the guage. I wasn't sure how accurate the fuel guage would be. On filling up, it took nearly 40 litres. This equates to 33MPG.
I am running the car in though.
