Default RED BADGES

Broke a lifetimes belief in the mantra ' quality is remembered long after price is forgotten' and bought a pair of red H badges on price via Ebay.
Received nicely packed in Honda branded plastic bags, but sizes seemed only just big enough. Honda logo on badges themselves so assumed the real thing.

Read and re-read the FAQ page on removing badges but still had trouble removing glue and very sligtly marked the paintwork.
With larger bonnet badge in jeans bonnet attempted to fit boot badge, but very very slightly too small.
Extracted large badge from pocket only to find surface of badge badly scratched as if it had been rubbed with an emery cloth.
Boot badge re-fitted & both red badges binned.

Still wanting to see red, but surely Honda badges are not this badly made? If so pity the poor Civic R brigade.

I bought the same ones, they had the same scratches but they fitted ok. Once I washed the car the steamed up as they arent properly sealed.

They still look ok but I will be opting for the more expensive ones as the chrome looks much better quality and the red looks deeper.

Chavs, there is no S2000 Type R.

The badges are body coloured, if you want red buy a red car. It wont make the car go any faster you know having red badges

I changed them on mine. I've kept the originals as I'm still undecided.
