Don't unclip the roof at 45mph.

It doesnt close right now

I was slowing down to open it, when i was distracted by an unmarked police that had stopped someone, forgot what i was doing and unclipped rather than carrying on with the braking. Front fold flipped up and then the whole thing went back funny.

When putting it up now it lands on top of the windscreen frame !! Bent it back into place gonna leave it closed in the warm weather next week see if it resets itself..

Ouch!

I don't think you'll make that mistake again.

Suprised the roof caught just from being unclipped though.

Am I missing something? Mine needs one click of handbrake and for the speed to be less than 3mph on the speedo before it will operate.

You can unclip it without either being an issue. I didn't "operate" it

You can cut the speed sensor wire to enable operation at any speed as long as the handbrake's engaged at least one notch.

Very handy in sudden downpours (or hailstorms as the French Bridge Trip folk will remember ) as you don't have to stop (and get drenched)
