Default Remote boot release.... again

Car went in for service today, so I mentioned that i've never ever got my remote release to work. Guy behind the desk had never heard of them having remote release, but said would look at it anyway - and made a note on the jobsheet.

Went back to pick it up, to be told it has to come in for a full strip-down of the control module - but hey at least it's gonna get done

i could never get mine to work then suddenly...... it works every time, just wai for the lights to stop flashing and then hold it down again and ping goes the release.

i dont have to blip it or anything, just hold it for a second or two..

maybe there is an art to it or maybe it just started working??

Well i thought about this, and followed all people's different personal methods of getting it to work, but I've had the car since August and use the boot every nite (to get Disklok out) and never once gotten it to work

I'm getting a 85.69% success rate - it would have been higher had I read posts on this subject sooner

Still baffles the wife though "How do you do that ?" "It never works for me"

The 'flash lights, wait a sec, and then hold' method is the most reliable in my experience.

I was a blipper but now I find just holding more satisfying.
