Default Removing and refitting different sump

Is removing the sump relatively straight forward and easy???

Case of just removing all the bolt and dropping the cover, cleaning off reinstalling and using gasket paste? or does the chain cover need to come off too?

Cheers

Yeah pretty simple.

Just need to remove two bolts for aircon bracket and bolts for front lower brace.

Don't forget the two long bolts, that bolt into the end of the end from the gearbox side.

Any tips for welding in a baffle plate as I'm thinking of doing this to my OEM sump.

Ditto^

I used the tegiwa baffle, and got my local motorsport place who specialises in Ali welding to do it.

I used instant gasket from motor factors or halfrauds. Made by loctite, resistant to high temperatures, oil grease etc.

Are you putting the turbo return into it Aj?

Matty put me a 8npt pickup and a sump baffle into mine.

Just use sealer when you refit it and make sure you get the old gasket/sealer off both surfaces.
