I have a MY04 and have been thinking about doing somthing about the speakers and possibly the stereo.

What do you reccomend as reasonably priced replacement speakers for the front that do not require any modification to the door pods and how much improvement would you get just replacing the speakers - reading through previous posts some people say the stock unit is underpowered but seems to have enough juice for me.

if it's enough for you, why you upgrading?

whats your budget, are spacers a no-go (go for some bigger&better sized speakers that require no door cutting), are you looking for SQ or SPL setup?

 

Volume is enough, but music is not clear and well defined.
